Central East Desert, Central Asia, to East Asia

Size and Weight : Approximately 10 cm in size, weighing around 50 grams

Physical Characteristics

They have small, chubby bodies with shorter tails compared to their bodies, and small, clearly visible ears. Their fur comes in various colors such as black, gray, white, brown, dark yellow, and yellow, depending on the species. The underside of their bodies is usually white. They have large, round eyes in black or red, and a nose highly sensitive to smell.

Diet

They consume various grains such as corn, pumpkin seeds, various types of beans, and almonds.

Fun Facts

They are friendly but can be secretly grumpy. Hamsters often store food in their cheek pouches.
